External Loan Payment FAQs

  • Midwest Regional Credit Union incurs processing expenses for credit/debit card and external account payments. Consider setting up an MRCU Checking Account, Online Banking, and Bill Pay in Virtual Branch.

  • Using the web portal incurs a $7.50 convenience charge. Payments processed by an MRCU Member Service Representative carry a $10 charge.

  • Payments from MRCU Savings/Checking Accounts are free. Opt for MRCU as your primary financial institution for numerous benefits.

  • To facilitate your payment through the Web Portal, you'll require your member number, loan suffix, and the specified payment amount. If you opt to make a payment over the phone with an MRCU Member Service Representative, you'll need your member number along with your loan suffix.

  • Provide your member number, loan suffix, and payment amount.

  • Payments are posted to your account within 2 business days of the transaction.

  • Loan payoff is possible by calling MRCU or visiting a branch.

  • The Web Portal accepts sub-minimum payments, limited to $2,000 or less per transaction. Call MRCU or visit a branch for overdue loans.

  • Payments apply to Mortgages, Home Equity/HELOCs, Personal, Auto, Lines of Credit, and Motorcycle/Boat/RV Loans.

  • Web portal payments generate emailed confirmations.
